Basketball Recap: Leeds Takes a Loss

After soaring to 66 points the game before, Leeds was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They were dealt a 70-25 defeat at the hands of the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies. The loss put an end to the Greenwave's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Leeds fell to 2-1. As for Hewitt-Trussville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Leeds will be taking part in a tournament against Spanish Fort at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hewitt-Trussville, they will square off against Whitesburg Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
