Football Recap: Caseville Eagles vs. Merritt Academy Mustangs
Caseville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 46-8 loss at the hands of the Merritt Academy Mustangs. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Caseville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Merritt Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
Caseville will look to defend their home field on Friday against Carsonville-Port Sanilac at 7:00 p.m. Caseville is facing Carsonville-Port Sanilac at the right time seeing as Carsonville-Port Sanilac is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Merritt Academy, they will head out to take on North Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Merritt Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
