Basketball Recap: Dyett Comes Up Short at Home Against Rolling Meadows

Dyett unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Rolling Meadows Mustangs on Friday, falling 64-23.

Despite the loss, Dyett still got an impressive performance from Rajeh Gardner, who posted 17 points. Gardner's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Rolling Meadows pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Dyett will square off against South Shore International at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rolling Meadows, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Buffalo Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
