Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lexington). They blew past the Thomasville Bulldogs 36-22 on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Yellowjackets needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Lexington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Thomasville, their loss was their 24th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-18.

Coming up, Lexington will head out to face off against T.W. Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets are facing the Red Raiders at the right time seeing as the Red Raiders are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Thomasville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
