The Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans were the 50-46 winner over the Kell Longhorns when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Greater Atlanta Christian received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 53-39 to Kell.

Despite the defeat, Greater Atlanta Christian saw an underclassman step up: Asia Johnson scored 24 points along with seven steals and two blocks. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 19 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Myla Benton, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Greater Atlanta Christian's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-13. As for Kell, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Greater Atlanta Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kell also has no future games currently scheduled.
