Meanwhile, Heritage Classical Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 45-29 win over First Baptist Academy. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked third in Missouri, while First Baptist Academy are ranked 409th in Illinois), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Victory Christian Academy better focus on containing Luke Heskett and Trip Taylor as the pair were huge in Heritage Classical Christian Academy's win. Heskett dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 boards, while Taylor went 7 of 12 on his way to 21 points and five steals. The contest was Taylor's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Gray, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Heritage Classical Christian Academy pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Victory Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
