Volleyball Recap: Chester Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, Chester rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the Dime Box Longhorns as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Yellowjackets, who have now won three contests in a row.

Several Longhorns players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyneisha Patterson, who had seven digs and six aces. Patterson has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Chester's victory bumped their record up to 30-14. As for Dime Box, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-18-1 record.

As of now, neither Chester nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
