Basketball Recap: Beachside Barracudas vs. Booker T. Washington Wildcats

Beachside and Booker T. Washington squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Beachside had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 66-30 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Barracudas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Wildcats are ranked 17th).

Despite the loss, Beachside still got an impressive performance from Morgan Cremen, who posted 16 points and five steals. Cremen has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 46 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Peyton Edwards, who scored eight points.

Booker T. Washington was led to victory by Jada Clardy and Chamiah Francis.
