Basketball Recap: Mission Valley's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Mission Valley won the last time they faced Madison/Hamilton, and Taylor Brammell did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mission Valley Vikings snuck past the Madison/Hamilton Bulldogs with a 46-40 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Brammell, who posted 14 points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Kyplee Jacobson, who put up seven points and three blocks. That's the most blocks she has posted since back in January of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Mission Valley and bumps their season record up to 7-7. As for Madison/Hamilton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3.

Mission Valley will challenge Cair Paravel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cair Paravel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Madison/Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
