Basketball Recap: Bourbon County Comes Up Short

Bourbon County lost against Paris back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bourbon County Colonels took a 50-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paris Greyhounds. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bourbon County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Paris, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

Coming up, Bourbon County will head out to square off against Montgomery County at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Paris, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against George Rogers Clark at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Paris is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), George Rogers Clark a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
