Baseball Recap: Houston Academy Comes Up Short

Houston Academy was the 5-4 winner over Providence Christian when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Houston Academy Raiders fell just short of the Providence Christian Eagles by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Harrison Milanowski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Houston Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't). Whit Price was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Houston Academy's record now sits at 3-5. As for Providence Christian, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3.
