Black Hills is 7-1 against Shelton since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Black Hills Wolves will square off against the Shelton Highclimbers at 7:00 p.m. Black Hills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

On Wednesday, Black Hills was fully in charge, breezing past Aberdeen 69-42.

Meanwhile, Shelton lost 49-24 to Tumwater on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Highclimbers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 128th).

Black Hills' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. As for Shelton, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Black Hills came out on top in a nail-biter against Shelton in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 43-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Black Hills since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
