The Pieper Warriors will venture away from home to take on the New Braunfels Unicorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 920 yards in their previous games.
Pieper took a loss when they played away from home back in September, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They strolled past Seguin with points to spare, taking the game 56-42. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pieper's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chase Lyons, who threw for 319 yards and three TDs while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt. Lyons is becoming a predictor of the Warriors' success: when he posts at least 250 passing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Cash Lancaster also helped out as he racked up 142 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, New Braunfels strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Boerne-Champion by a score of 27-17. Those 27 points were actually the fewest the Unicorns have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.
Pieper better keep an eye on LEVI GOLLA. He was instrumental in New Braunfels' win, rushing for 93 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing for 220 yards and one TD. CAYDEN MILLS did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 101 receiving yards.
