Hillsdale is on a three-game streak of home losses, Foothill a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS will welcome the Foothill Falcons at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Hillsdale was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-47 to Elk Grove. While losing is never fun, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 573rd, while the Thundering Herd are ranked 122nd).

Meanwhile, Foothill didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Antioch on Saturday, but they still walked away with a 50-45 victory. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly five points.

Foothill has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Hillsdale, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
