Softball Recap: Stockbridge Tigers vs. Eagle's Landing Eagles
Stockbridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Eagle's Landing Eagles, falling 23-10. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ciara Hall led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexandria Williams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Stockbridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Eagle's Landing, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Stockbridge will challenge rival Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eagle's Landing is set to face off against their familiar foe McDonough at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
