Preview: South Fremont Cougars vs. North Fremont Huskies
The South Fremont Cougars will be home for the holidays to greet the North Fremont Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Fremont is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Thursday, South Fremont came up short against American Falls and fell 49-38. South Fremont has not had much luck with American Falls recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Skyler Forbush, who scored 11 points. He scored a full 28.9% of South Fremont's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Bryce Johnson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Meanwhile, North Fremont was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Wednesday as they fell 51-46 to Aberdeen.
South Fremont's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for North Fremont, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
