Volleyball Game Preview: Branham Bruins vs. Leigh Longhorns

Branham is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Leigh is on a 14-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Bruins will host the Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Branham is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Archbishop Mitty just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 3-2.

Branham couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Archbishop Mitty a tough time in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 26-28, 28-30, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Leigh made easy work of Leland on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-21.

Leigh's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Branham, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.
