Lake Highland Prep has gone a perfect 3-0 against Foundation Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Highlanders will challenge the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lake Highland Prep comes in on four and Foundation Academy on six.

Lake Highland Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Old Plank Christian Academy as they made off with a 35-14 win. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Lake Highland Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eddie Bohne led the charge by rushing for 132 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Bohne didn't just play on offense: he also made one tackle and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Lake Highland Prep also got help from Brady Weber, who showed off his sure hands for 80 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lake Highland Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 213 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Old Plank Christian Academy only rushed for 100.

Lake Highland Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bohne, Eli Horne, Charlie Newman, and Grayson Jones picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Foundation Academy strolled past St. Joseph Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-14. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by exactly 14 points.

Foundation Academy had a senior duo take command as Noah McMullen picked up 150 receiving yards and one TD and Braydon Marks threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Lake Highland Prep's record now sits at 7-2. As for Foundation Academy, their record is now 9-2.

Lake Highland Prep beat Foundation Academy 28-21 when the teams last played back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
