Flag Football Recap: Albertville Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Boaz + How To Watch

Albertville faced Boaz in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Aggies fell 19-6 to the Pirates. The Aggies have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Albertville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Bethany Strickland led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Another thorn in Boaz's side was Journey Williams, who picked up two sacks, made seven total tackles, and defended one pass.

Albertville's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Boaz, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

As of now, neither Albertville nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
