Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Avoca Central). They blew past the Hammondsport Lakers 30-2 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Avoca Central's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hammondsport, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Avoca Central will head out to take on Addison at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hammondsport, they will face off against Whitman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
