Baseball Recap: Cardinal Mooney Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Cardinal Mooney got themselves on the board against Imagine School at North Port on Thursday, but Imagine School at North Port never followed suit. They came out on top against the Imagine School at North Port Sharks by a score of 5-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 two weeks ago.

Keaton White looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joey Anuario, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Micah Page was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Cardinal Mooney was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Imagine School at North Port only posted a batting average of .200.
