Volleyball Recap: Saint Stephen's Episcopal Takes a Loss

Saint Stephen's Episcopal was the 2-0 winner over Manatee when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes on Saturday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olivia Ierulli paced Saint Stephen's Episcopal's offense, picking up six kills. Ierulli got some help from Sophia Ierulli and her 13 assists. Ali Cavanaugh and Caroline Verab kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Manatee, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Coming up, Saint Stephen's Episcopal will head out on the road to face off against Imagine School at North Port at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manatee, they will challenge Sarasota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
