Flag Football Game Preview: Valley Christian Trojans vs. Santa Rita Eagles + Official Tickets

The Valley Christian Trojans will square off against the Santa Rita Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Valley Christian has three straight wins, Santa Rita has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Santa Rita's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Valley Christian hadn't allowed a single point the last three times they've hit the field. The Trojans took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 41-0 victory over Palo Verde. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by 30 points or more so far this season.

Valley Christian found their leader in sophomore Abigail Trillo, who threw for 201 yards and four TDs. Trillo is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for four or more in each of the last three games she's played. Alana Cross was in the mix too, providing Valley Christian with two scores.

Valley Christian's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB nine times. Leading the way was Charis Barrett with eight sacks.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Santa Rita took a 17-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Horizon Honors.

Santa Rita's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
