Nixon has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mission recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Nixon is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Juarez-Lincoln just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 5-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Nixon couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Frank Quiroz, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four matchup, Mission brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Everything went their way against Cigarroa on Tuesday as they made off with a 6-1 victory. With that win, Mission brought their scoring average up to 2.7 goals per game.

Mission's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Nixon, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1.

Nixon came out on top in a nail-biter against Mission in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
