Soccer Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

Chesapeake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Patapsco Patriots. Chesapeake were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Patapsco apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Chesapeake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Patapsco, they now have a winning record of 4-3-3.

Looking ahead, Chesapeake will head out on the road to square off against Owings Mills at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chesapeake will be up against Owings Mills' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Patapsco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
