Volleyball Recap: Valor Christian Takes a Loss

Valor Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Horizon Christian Academy Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Thursday.

Valor Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-11, 25-14, 25-19.

Valor Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Horizon Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valor Christian will welcome Dominion Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fideles Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
