While Eastside put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Gainesville. The Rams claimed a resounding 63-0 win over the Hurricanes. The matchup marked the Rams' most dominant victory of the season.

Nelson Tambling had a dynamite game, throwing for 174 yards and six touchdowns while completing 91.7% of his passes. Those six passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Marcus Coefield was in the mix as well, providing Eastside with two scores.

Eastside was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 236 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 181 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Eastside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Tramayne Montague, Malicah Williams, Demarco Daniels, and Ja'Marian Reaves picked up one apiece.

Eastside pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.7 points on average over those games. As for Gainesville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Eastside nor the Hurricanes have any future games scheduled.
