Baseball Game Preview: Live Oak Eagles vs. Dunham Tigers

Live Oak is 7-2 against Dunham since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Live Oak Eagles will be playing at home against the Dunham Tigers at 12:00 p.m. Live Oak is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Live Oak made easy work of Dunham and carried off a 13-7 win. The Eagles have beaten the Tigers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Zant Gurney looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Live Oak got a big performance out of Brayden Allen, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave Allen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dekohta Jones, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Live Oak always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Live Oak's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Dunham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
