Football Game Preview: Trinity Trojans vs. Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves

The Trinity Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Trinity is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Brooklyn: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Trojans blew the Hurricanes out of the water with a 41-6 final score. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cuyahoga Heights). They blew past Beachwood 56-14 on Friday. The Red Wolves pushed the score to 41-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bison had little chance of recovering from.

Cuyahoga Heights' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.6 points over those games. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Trinity couldn't quite finish off Cuyahoga Heights in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 24-21. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
