Flag Football Recap: Taylor Bradley and Maddie Moloney Pace Arapahoe Defense

If Arapahoe was feeling good fresh off their 35-13 takedown of Overland on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the Grandview Wolves on Saturday, falling 32-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 37-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Although Arapahoe took the loss, they still got scores from Izzie Usagani and Taylor Bradley.

Arapahoe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bradley and Maddie Moloney. Bradley got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

It was another big night for Abby Kirkpatrick, who picked up 87 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 66 yards on only five carries for Grandview. Those 87 receiving yards gave Kirkpatrick a new career-high. Another player making a difference was K'Dence Thomas, who gained 111 total yards and two touchdowns.

Arapahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Grandview, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Arapahoe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 32-0 victory against Smoky Hill on the 30th. As for Grandview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 41-7 win against Overland on the 30th.
