Basketball Recap: Racine Park Piles Up the Points Against Racine Horlick

Racine Park had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Racine Horlick Rebels 70-43. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Rebels are ranked 414th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Racine Park's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie Khreish, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 17 points and seven steals. What's more, Khreish also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Myasia Bostick was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 17 boards.

Racine Park was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Racine Park pushed their record up to 10-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.3 points. As for Racine Horlick, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
