Volleyball Recap: Davenport West Find Success

Davenport West posted their closest victory since September 21, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors 2-1. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Davenport West's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Davenport West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Clinton on the 13th. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they will square off against Tipton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
