Volleyball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Columbia lost against Northport back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Mustangs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-10.

Northport found their leader in sophomore Kate Beardslee, who had 11 kills, seven digs, three aces, and one block. Beardslee is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Northport, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Columbia will challenge rival Selkirk at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northport is set to take on their familiar foe Cusick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
