Volleyball Game Preview: Woodstock Academy Centaurs vs. Rockville Rams

Woodstock Academy hasn't had much luck against Rockville recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Centaurs will venture away from home to square off against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Woodstock Academy took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Putnam. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Centaurs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

In the three sets Woodstock Academy was on fire: they won each by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 17-25, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Rockville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Warriors 3-0.

Woodstock Academy better keep an eye on Wesley Foo. He was instrumental in Rockville's win, getting 14 digs and one assist.

Woodstock Academy's record now sits at 13-8. As for Rockville, their record is now 14-6.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Woodstock Academy has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 10 aces per game. However, it's not like Rockville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
