Softball Recap: Reavis Rams vs. Evergreen Park Mustangs
It was a good run, but Reavis unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Evergreen Park Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Reavis of the 12-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Kenzie Welsh made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Gustafson, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.
Reavis' defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Evergreen Park, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.
Reavis will challenge Oak Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evergreen Park, they will be playing at home against Bremen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Evergreen Park will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
