It was a good run, but Lafayette unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Wilson Lakemen. While losing is never fun, Lafayette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Wilson are ranked 33rd).

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2-1. As for Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Lafayette has already played their next contest, a 16-0 win against Salamanca on the 21st. Wilson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
