After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middletown, Mason was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 38-21 victory over the Colerain Cardinals. That 17 point margin sets a new team best for the Comets this season.

Mason moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Colerain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, Mason will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sycamore at 7:00 p.m. The Comets will be up against the Aviators' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.56 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Colerain, they will square off against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
