Volleyball Recap: Maranatha Christian Takes a Loss

The Maranatha Christian Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Emmanuel Christian Crusaders on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.

Emmanuel Christian found their leader in sophomore Megan Butler, who had ten digs and three aces. Butler is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Maranatha Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Emmanuel Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maranatha Christian will square off against Mullins Marion Christian at 5:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Emmanuel Christian, they will take on Step of Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
