Football Recap: Hardaway Takes a Loss

Hardaway lost against Spencer back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks took a blow against the Greenwave, falling 48-20. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Hardaway saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaamir Brown rushed for 75 yards and one score on only ten carries. Brown's longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Hardaway's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Spencer, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Hardaway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spencer, after both having extra time off, they and Miller Grove will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on the 13th. The Wolverines' defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so the Greenwave's offense will have their work cut out for them.
