Flag Football Recap: Appling County Takes a Loss

Appling County fell victim to Fitzgerald and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 29-0 loss at the hands of the Purple Hurricane. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Appling County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fitzgerald, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Appling County will welcome Bryan County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fitzgerald, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Macon County at 5:30 p.m.
