Basketball Recap: Altamont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Altamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-62 heartbreaker at the hands of Tuscaloosa Academy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tuscaloosa Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-67 on Tuesday.

Altamont's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Altamont will welcome Childersburg at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will square off against Hatch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
