Volleyball Recap: Northwest Christian Takes a Loss

Northwest Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mary M. Knight Owls by a score of 1-0.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Northwest Christian sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 22-17.

Sophia Donaldson paced Northwest Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Donaldson got some help from Katherine Armour and her five assists. Donaldson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Northwest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Mary M. Knight, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Northwest Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Taholah on the 11th. As for Mary M. Knight, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Ocosta on the 11th.
