The West Jefferson Panthers will challenge the West Side Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 39 points per game this season.

West Jefferson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 21-20 photo finish over Malad.

Mac Hall was his usual excellent self, rushing for 127 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He has become a key player for West Jefferson: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Meanwhile, West Side entered their tilt with Malad last Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 40-8 win over the Dragons. With the Pirates ahead 27-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

West Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for West Side, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

West Jefferson beat West Side 36-24 in their previous matchup back in October of 2016. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
