Volleyball Recap: Mira Monte Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mira Monte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Arvin Bears, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 6th.

Mira Monte took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-23.

Arvin can attribute much of their success to Kayleene Pantoja, who had 17 digs and two assists. Pantoja has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Mira Monte's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Arvin, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-8-3.

As of now, neither Mira Monte nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
