It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Downers Grove South can now relate to. They fell just short of the Oswego East Wolves by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Among those leading the charge was Nathan Thach, who had 17 digs and three assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Downers Grove South's defeat dropped their record down to 17-19. As for Oswego East, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-17 record this season.
