Preview: Morse Shipbuilders vs. Mount View Mustangs
Morse has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Friday. They will face off against the Mount View Mustangs at 6:30 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Morse was the victim of a rough 66-40 loss at the hands of Freeport.
Despite the loss, Morse got a solid performance out of Gage Suitter, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Calin Gould, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Mount View took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They blew past Waterville 77-45 at home.
Morse's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mount View, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Everything came up roses for Morse against Mount View when the teams last played back in January of 2015 as the team secured a 66-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Morse since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
