Volleyball Recap: Tse' Yi' Gai Takes a Loss

Tse' Yi' Gai came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Pine Hill Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dine Warriors of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Tse' Yi' Gai was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-16.

Tse' Yi' Gai has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Pine Hill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tse' Yi' Gai will face off against rival Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pine Hill is set to take on their familiar foe To'hajiilee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
