Football Recap: North Shore Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last six matchups, North Shore finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They were beaten by the Freeman Golden Eagles 42-12. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Shore's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Freeman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

North Shore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-0 win against Channelview on the 17th. As for Freeman, they will square off against KIPP Sunnyside at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Freeman will be up against KIPP Sunnyside's rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
