Basketball Recap: Stebbins Comes Up Short

Stebbins's last matchup with Shawnee could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Stebbins Indians lost 66-41 to the Shawnee Braves. The Indians lost against the Braves in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 39-36 score last time.

Stebbins has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Shawnee, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Stebbins will head out on the road to square off against West Carrollton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shawnee, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Indian Lake at 7:00 p.m.
