Softball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood lost against Chaparral on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers lost 14-4 to the Wolverines.

Abriella Aguilar and Lucy Retzer did some serious damage despite the final result: Aguilar went 1-for-2 with one home run, while Retzer went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Lakewood has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season. As for Chaparral, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Lakewood nor Chaparral have any future games scheduled.
